Traditional Missoko Bwiti Retreats
Our 6–7 day traditional Iboga retreat is the most immersive and authentically held Bwiti experience available in the United States. Guided by the most experienced Missoko Bwiti facilitators practicing in the country, this retreat follows the living ceremonial protocol of the Bwiti as transmitted through direct lineage — not adapted, not approximated, but carried with the full integrity of the tradition. Over the course of your stay, you will participate in two full Iboga ceremonies held within sacred Bwiti ritual space, supported by days of preparation, integration, and the kind of unhurried presence that deep healing requires. This is not a clinical program or a wellness weekend — it is an encounter with one of the most profound traditions on earth.
Your Gateway to the Village
Missoko Bwiti Alliance offers the Gateway to Gabon Program following select retreats, providing the opportunity to travel to Gabon, Central Africa — the homeland of the Missoko Bwiti tradition — to experience the culture and teachings at their source. Participants may visit traditional villages, connect with lineage holders, and for those who are prepared, pursue deeper initiation within the tradition, creating a respectful bridge between Western seekers and the living roots of Bwiti.
